PROBLEM SOLVINGIf you have a problem that the County should solve, start the process by calling either of these offices:
Montgomery County has a 311 call system. For any County call -- question or service request or other business -- use the Call Center. Landline phones should dial 311. Cell phones must use 240-777-0311. A central website is also available where residents can make some service requests, e.g., to request a recycling bin: www.montgomerycountymd.go v/311
Other problems? The Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County provides a potentially valuable, non-profit service for all residents. The Center is intended to resolve disputes through mediation. They will mediate disputes among family members, friends, and neighbors as well as consumer-merchant and school-community conflicts. To check whether the Center can help you, call 301-593- 9473 or e-mail CRCofMC@aol.com
Our usual day for recycling and trash pick-up "slides" a day
when there is a county holiday during the business week. The
only days affected by holidays are in the weeks following
January 1, Martin L. King Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving, and December 25.
